Quick answer

We make metal panels for the outside of buildings. A panel can give a wall a clean look. It can also hide parts of the building. But a panel is not the full wall. The full wall also needs support, joints, drainage and a safe fixing plan. We review these points before we make a panel. Send us your drawings first. We can then check the size, shape, finish and hole pattern. If you do not have full drawings, we can help you plan the product.

1 Introduction

An exterior metal wall panel is a metal sheet on the outside of a building. We use it for walls, entries, columns and screens. The panel may be flat. It may have holes. It may also have a wave or a curve. We make each panel from the agreed drawings.

We start with the job site. We ask where the building is. We ask how much sun, rain, dust or salt it will face. We also ask how the panel will meet other parts of the wall. These facts help us choose the right product.

2 Types

· Solid aluminum panels give a clean and even look.

· Perforated panels have holes. They can let air and light pass through.

· Corrugated panels have a shaped face. They add depth to a wall.

· Metal mesh works well for screens and open areas.

· Formed panels can wrap a column or follow a curve.

We do not use one size for every job. Our public product pages show this. One listed perforated aluminum panel is 300 by 1200 mm and 2.5 mm thick. Another listed panel is 1200 by 2400 mm and 2.35 mm thick. These are examples only. Your drawing sets the final size.

3 How we use panels

We use exterior metal wall panels on facades, entry areas, soffits and column wraps. We also use them to screen plant rooms. A good panel plan starts with the look you want. It then checks the wall behind the panel. It also checks the way rain can leave the wall.

For a panel with holes, we check what sits behind it. We check if people can see through it. We check if the panel needs a back layer. We also plan how it can be cleaned. Small checks like these help avoid a poor result later.

4 Good points and limits

Metal panels can give you many design choices. We can make flat panels, panels with holes, and shaped panels. We can also offer powder coat or PVDF finish on listed products. A factory made panel can help keep the look even across a large wall.

Panels also have limits. A large panel may need more support. A thin panel may need folds or stiffeners. A hard pattern can take more time to make. The finish must suit the site. We ask you to approve samples before full production.

We do not give a useful final price from one short message. The price can change with the metal, size, thickness, shape, finish, order size and shipping plan. Clear drawings help us give a clear quote.

5 Care and maintenance

We ask building owners to plan care from day one. Dirt, salt and smoke can build up on a wall. The best cleaning plan depends on the site and the finish. Follow the finish maker guide and the site care plan.

Check the wall for dirt, marks, loose parts and blocked drain paths. Use a cleaner that is safe for the finish. Do not use harsh pads or strong chemicals. Test a small hidden area first.

For panels with holes, check the space behind the panel when safe to do so. Do not remove a panel without the approved steps. This helps keep the wall safe and dry.

6 Industry outlook

We see more projects that want a clear look and a custom wall. This can mean a new shape, a new color or a new hole pattern. Good drawings still matter. A new look must also be safe to make and easy to fit.

We think digital drawings and sample checks will stay important. They help us spot issues early. They also help the client see the final look before we make the full order.
